CONSIDERED PROSPECTS FOR STRENGTHENING MILITARY COOPERATION WITH THE USA

The Department of International Cooperation of the National guard is implementing a set of measures aimed at strengthening and expanding effective cooperation with foreign partners.

In particular, on March 15 of this year, a working meeting of representatives of the National Guard of Uzbekistan with the Military Attaché of the US Embassy in the Republic of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant Colonel B.Buchholz and the Chief of the Military Cooperation Office of the US Embassy, ​​Major Joel Springstead, took place.

During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the prospects for further strengthening military cooperation between the National guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the US Armed Forces in various fields, including security, public order, training and retraining of military personnel, development of new educational programs for the exchange of best practices in the sphere of ensuring the safety of citizens.

At the end of the meeting, which took place in an open and friendly atmosphere, the parties expressed satisfaction with the talks, and an agreement was reached to continue the practical dialogue.
