Do not trust unverified information

As we reported earlier, false information about mass riots in the Nukus city continues to spread on social networks and instant messengers.
Due to a series of such false news, even the author of one of the foreign channels in Telegram himself admitted that various fake photos and videos are being received. And he wrote in an appeal to subscribers that he was forced to delete one of the previously posted messages after Uzbekistan proved that this was fake information.
In another provocative video, shown with the obvious aim of attracting the attention of new subscribers, a voice-over says that “...one civilian was wounded and another was killed by the military.” To confirm or refute the information, representatives of the press service met with the surgeon of the Karakalpak branch of the Republican Research Center for Emergency Medicine Bakhtijon Mambetov. The doctor said that the people in the video are not among the patients admitted on July 1-2.
Official leaders gave accurate information about those who died as a result of mass riots and in what cases citizens were injured, and published them in the media and on official websites.
Dear citizens, provocative messages continue to be spread by some individuals with ulterior motives, and we prove them false through our official websites.
Dear friends, please protect yourself and your relatives from various conspiracies, follow reliable and accurate information through our official channels.
